I love all these cute parallels you tie into it! The left panel is like the removal of the blindfold, while in the right panel Stede gives Ed the tie he'll be wearing forever after. And the panels are also parallels and opposites of each other - Ed taking care of Stede, and Stede taking care of Ed.
