Exponentially more, I imagine.

I googled and Saturday 6/24/72 had Cannonball, Nina Simone, Dave Brubeck Trio (Paul Desmond & Gerry Milligan) and The Giants of Jazz (Blakey, Gillespie, McKibbon, Monk, Stitt & Winding). Fri 6/23 - Herbie Mann, Jimmy Smith, Ray Charles, B.B.King. Saw B.B. several times over the years, not in Hampton

That was just one night of 2 or possibly 3 total. 1972

That show was not on my radar at all. At the time I was a country music DJ. Besides Nina, Dave Brubeck, Paul Desmond, Gerry Mulligan, Cannonball Adderly, Dizzy Gillespie, Kai Winding, Sonny Stitt, Thelonius Monk, Art Blakey, & Al Mckibbon.

Tick on My Taint by Baltimore’s Thee Lexington Arrows performed during the 24 Hour Live Music Marathon celebrating WTMD’s new studio digs (about 10 years back). Rick Mahan is another artist with same title but it’s a totally different song.

I saw the show at MPP where that song was recorded for album.

From their first album. Had to travel this far down to see the first song I thought of.

I saw the Mothers of Invention at Eastern HS (across from Baltimore’s
Memorial Stadium) on November 3, 1967. Highlight was joining several other audience members on stage and drawing a violin bow across the strings of Jimmy Carl Black’s bass. It was just my 2nd concert, 1st was Beatles 8/13/66 in DC
