That I have no idea about. I do eat meat-based pies as a Brit, nowt wrong with pork or steak pies, but it's obviously a completely different kind of crust and preparation to a sweet/fruit pie.

I literally have two packs of them downstairs. They're like the size of cherry bakewells and they're lovely little Christmas standards. They were made with mincemeat in Victorian times, nowadays mixed fruit and spices.

Don't worry about the life count in hard mode at all. And if you need a breather from it, end the mode by running out of lives and starting over - you can then choose normal or hard mode, and re-explore the original Void to solve mysteries that will reward means of advancement for Hard.

Phonics is a useful tool but there was a pegagogical obsession with it to the exclusion of other basic reading and learning techniques, which led to kids raised heavily on phonics alone struggling with being able to glean meaning from compound words and the like.
