Kind of a fuckup, to be honest.
And she does it without having to live in Scottsdale from signing in November to getting traded in early July.

It is almost gaudily Winnetka.

The League, as a TV show, perfectly captured a bunch of north suburb assholes, too.

The Bear is so good about getting Chicago . I must know at least 12 Faks, and at least 7 season 1 Richies. Several Sidneys. More than 1 Tina and Sugars aplenty as well.

I don’t know LA enough to have an opinion, but does Swingers get it right?

Weirdly enough, The Break Up gets an awful lot right about Chicago.

I mean, I’m a weird guy, but it took me until my 20’s to stop resenting my parents a little for spending six or seven years lying to me, even if it was a well-intentioned lie. Made it seem like the whole telling the truth expectation was pure hypocrisy.

Are you not worried about them resenting you for lying to them for years?

I mean, it's basically really thick bolognese served over bread, not noodles, right?

Best tool I've found for driving home the difference:

1 million minutes ago was in January, 2024.
1 billion minutes ago was in the reign of Hadrian.
1 trillion minutes ago was around the time when homo erectus started migrating out of Africa.

Banger after banger. Skating is a straight up bop.

Makes it less likely at least. Coaches have stayed long enough to upgrade the progrum in the past (Bowden, Beamer, Alvarez, Swinney maybe?), but it is rare.

Ames is a perfectly cromulent college town.

You’d choose Matt Campbell’s life. Or, and this may be hot takery, Bobby Bowden’s.

How would you feel about “It’s the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Charlie Brown!”?

Totally get that. I can microslice B1G distinctions. The SEC, to me, is just a giant circle of pointing Spidermen.
