I carried an American flag to today's local No Kings protest in Winona, MN, a sleepy little town in SE Minnesota on the Mississippi River. A younger guy walked by & told me that, "If you're a Democrat you're not an American so you shouldn't be carrying a flag". On Flag Day? That's the best ya' got?

Back at ya'. My e-bike these day has 4"x26" road-tread, no shocks (except the seatpost & sprung gel saddle), a TDCM hubmotor w/ 5-speed internal shift, and a 55V 30AH Panasonic battery pack. It's a used rebuild of a Surly Pugsley frame. With heavy loads and big motor stresses I like steel tubing.

We took a "break" from political activity today in the sense that it was time to get our peas planted. Since we grow over 100 pounds of storage legumes every year they take priority. But we also "protested" in terms of working on the installation of our neighbor's newly expanded off-Grid PV system.

I am soooo tired of seeing the frequent TV broadcast ads with "ICE Barbie" touting Chump's immigration "policy" using taxpayer money paid for through Homeland Security. Really? They have to stoop to doing commercials to boost ratings for a flawed, uncomprehensive policy & I have to pay to watch it?

Remember, everything Chump says/writes is technically bullshit, with no interest in truth/falsity, just his personal goals. He routinely stiffs those who worked for him and goes financially belly-up repeatedly, so do you really think he'd honor any agreements he makes with other governments?

You can start here if you own one. They are getting increasingly vandalized. Donate the ugly thing to a charity, claim the tax write-off, and dump your Tesla stock before it becomes worthless. Tell the richest "man" (head of "DOUGHY") that they are wealthy enough by no longer supporting them.

Today, the six SunPower E-327 PV panels that we bought "new, old stock" to replace ten, 25 year old Kyocera KC-120 PV panels have proven to be top-notch! At noon today, under clear skies, they were each putting out almost 13 watts more power than their listed rating (total 1962 vs. 2039 watts). 👍

In case you are wondering why our homestead is all-electric, here is a comparison of what an acre of land can support. Not that we'll ever have a full acre of PV panels, but EVs are SOOOOO much more efficient. And EV e-bikes are even better than EV cars, weather and physical ability allowing.
