People are making this an AI thing, but getting rid of IP law means no invention would ever be safe from some massive company swooping in to steal your idea and execute at a scale you cant possibly compete at.

If you don't think these organizations are meritocratic you don't understand what that means. The only competitive disadvantage we have is in recruiting and I can imagine how this crowd would react to a proposal to close that gap....
