I think you and I are looking at two very different incidents. What I personally saw at the ICE facility were people moving out of the way when asked, people providing food/water, a choir singing, dancing etc., while protesting against the horrific attacks on people during ICE raids.

At one time maybe, but today ICE agents are bombing people, who are peacefully exercising their constitutional rights. with pepper spray. They’re covering their faces while snatching people off the street. This doesn’t seem fitting for a democratic society.

I hope you witnessed the same thing I did.
The No Kings 2 in “war-ravaged” Portland was the most joyous protest I have ever experienced so far. There were about 40,000 kind participants who sent a message while embracing a bit of humor. No ICE and the city police were fine.
It felt hopeful.

I totally support states who are trying to counteract Texas’ outrageous action. It has to be done to save the US.
trump & supporters are trashing the Constitution/federal laws and destroying the country for their own greed. They should be noted in history as a scourge of our time.
