I mainly get my news in text form, so I totally cop to mispronouncing names. But given all the names of persons/places/things I mention on the show every week, it doesn't happen very often. BTW, it's Sherrill, not Cheryl.

That's a fair point, but the shutdown and the media coverage of it provided visibility and leverage to reinstate the subsidies in order to reopen. Now, congressional Republicans can add poison pills and kick the can, Donald can provide distractions, and the news media can move on to other stories.

The Dems who *are* running will use it in ads. It might help them politically, but it won't help the people who need the subsidies.
