Ok maybe not correct word. Institution? I've always viewed PBS and NPR as iconic of American ideals and excellence. It evoked in me a view and a respect of American culture.

I think your take is wrong here. Hopefully PMMC, who has a serious and value based commitment to indigenous Peoples, will make this work for all. I think passing C5 first was the only way anything is going to move. The intent is the horizon, the journey will hopefully remedy much injustice.

Seems a bit simplistically naive to think like that. It's not how life works. Getting all actors to drop weapons at the same time, drop all territorial adventures at the same time, and all resource grabs and designs at the same time...is folly. We the species will not oblige.

I think societal "thinking" pigeon holes itself into blind corners and dictates views contrary to the sensible & logical. Why can't one hold very conservative views on "this" and progressive or liberal views on "that"?
