I’m not Scottish but watching Scotland v Denmark reminded me - in an era when football feels like a gluttonous, corporate machine - why I fell in love with the game in the first place. The overhead kick! That thrilling injury-time winner! The chip to finish it off! Pure theatre! Incredible! #SCODEN

A solid performance on the road. I thought #bhafc did well to control the tempo and quieten the home fans. Wieffer, Dunk, Van Hecke, Kadioglu, Minteh and Verbruggen all excellent. #cpfc looked leggy after Thursday. I’d have been delighted with a point before kick-off and I think it’s a fair outcome.

Finally got to see the #bhafc documentary, Stand or Fall. It was an enjoyable, emotional watch. Nice to see so many friends in it, and I’m particularly proud of the contribution my mum and dad made. Bravo 👏🏻

Went to the Camp de Mestalla last night to watch Valencia’s calamitous 2-1 defeat to Oviedo (1-0 up, missed a pen, conceded in 85th and 86th minute!). What a magnificent old stadium though. What an atmosphere! 😍🦇 #valenciacf #valenciafc #laliga #mestalla #football #footballawaydays

Duolingo has absolutely shat the bed with this new update where the battery has replaced the hearts. I didn’t get a question wrong in my session just now and still ran out of ’energy’ and had to quit halfway through my second lesson. Awful user experience. #duolingo #energy #battery

Not for the first time, a substitution masterclass from Hurzeler. Completely turned the game on its head and shifted the momentum after a fairly listless first hour. City couldn’t handle us after the changes. Brilliant winning goal from Gruda too. #bhafc

Great performance! Very professional throughout. Although, if Jason Steele hadn’t played quite so well I’d have won £81, as I had a quid on a 6-1 win at 80/1! #bhafc

My first #England women's game was a poorly attended loss to the USSR at The Goldstone as a kid in the 90s. Who would have dreamed that 3 decades on we’d be celebrating back-to-back Euros wins? This brilliant team are fantastic role models as were the trailblazers who preceded them #bhafc #Lionesses

We were at Wembley to see the Lionesses win the Euros last time, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Congratulations to the team for winning it AGAIN today. Their winning mentality is incredible. Now I need a lie down in a dark room. #england #lionesses

Another old #bhafc away shirt found in the loft. A fairly uninspiring kit which I don’t really remember. I reckon it’s from about 1993, judging by the manufacturer and sponsor. Is that right?
