Jennifer McClellan and the establishment of the Congressman Bobby Scott and Joni Ivey Scholarships during the Newport News NAACP Gala. In FY23, I secured $3 million in community project funding through the federal appropriations process for the City of Chesapeake’s first public pool, to be constructed at the Cuffee Community Center. It was great to be at the groundbreaking today!
