about a year ago I started a running list of the "best original songs not nominated for the best original song oscar," which I update each time I remember one. I'm prepared to add all of these 2024 tracks to that list when (based on current predictions) they're ignored. really good stuff this year!

A few months ago I had the idea to set iconic movie endings to "You Got the Love" a la Sex and the City's series finale in an effort to prove, I'm not quite sure... Anyway, here's the first and only one I've made. (BlueSky's 60-second limit hurts this but... oh well.)
