All stations have plans to become accessible, it’s just a matter of $ and when. There is a preliminary design that adds an entrance across Clybourn and exit at Clybourn/Halsted. It’s next in line for funding.

Protecting the prairie means a stop to sprawl, which also means sustainable growth needs to come from the areas we’ve already built out: infill and density.

And making the urban core *more* auto-dependent blows a hole in the simple geometry of making more space for more people.

I got on a heavily delayed train once that only had 1.5 cars open. bathrooms were putrid, one of them flooded. asked to use another car’s and was told no. but they opened the adjacent car at some point because people got out when I got off. No “hey that one’s open now.” My bladder and I were pissed.

Much better than CTA (agendas before, as by law; exhibits, a month or two after)

Are you from the future? Thanks for digging this up!

And every time I provide feedback on things like this, I'm met with something dismissive and misunderstanding like "thanks, schedules are on our website, have you looked????" 🫠

What's even crazier is NOWHERE on their site can you find a list of holidays where they follow the "Sunday/Holiday" schedule. It's either unannounced (like Thanksgiving), or they go completely rogue and put "actually it's going to be something completely different" on their somehow worsening website

I should be able to google "upnw timetable" and get to it. instead i end up at a page with nothing but a listing of stations and having to navigate through the website anyway? it took them a while to fix that on the previous site too but CTA does this, Pace does this...why does metra not do this
