Some bad news. By August, he will just be getting his confidence back in lateral movements but won't be ready for prime time. That confidence and strength could take up to October/November.

Dude, you love people getting severe injuries because they get on your nerves?

You like seeing players get injured? WTH is wrong with the world.

Model is fine. It recommends what you should do as if you get to do it a thousand times against different teams. Valuable information, but so are the unique variables that present themselves in the game. Weather, dominance you've had on defense, etc. The model is one piece of the decision pie.

They have more penalties and more penalty yards than all opponents this year. Not a shocker.

I think we learned we need to be a little more optimistic! Doesn't look pretty, but we survive and reserve the right to get better as we close out the season, as unlikely as it might feel.

Not really, but most likely.

No argument there, but saying a pass like that is a bad pass because it is a foot from the bread basket is a bit of a stretch. WR1s across the league catch that 9/10.

You watch Chase or Brown or literally any team's #1 and they fight for that ball and catch it. That thing wasn't way behind. It was absolutely catchable.

This is genuinely Nobel prize worthy stuff. The paradoxes within this season are perhaps the greatest the sport has ever seen.

FWIW, the Chargers started with 3 divisional games this year.

It's wonderful that we are in games and we have a shot to win, but I honestly don't know if it's better to watch a solid team piss down its leg continuously or to take a risk on someone new with a low possibility of improvement. He's no Mangino, and sliding below Mason to Terry Allen territory.

We are in better shape than we were the prior decade, no doubt, but by soft wins with more winnable games overall in a depleted Big 12. The standard should be a little higher, IMO. 6th highest paid Big 12 coach, and best Big 12 finish was 8th.

I really want to like Lance, but I gotta be that greedy ungrateful guy who says he's got to go. Even in our bowl years, we gave away games.

Let me take you back to a game on Christmas Day vs the silver and black...

Narrative pushers were trying very hard to indicate the Chiefs were getting all of the calls 😅. We should have been able to overcome. We got nobody to blame but ourselves.

Honestly at that point, the TD was probably a blessing. We had plenty of time to get in FG range still.

V chill to hope someone gets hurt.

A few things we haven't taken advantage of, but overall a solid performance. Encouraging that we have broken a few solid runs. Offense is well balanced.
