My A5 sketch of Robo needed full treatment. Redid him on an A3 aquarelle paper. Sketched in many layers, hard graphite for final details, then brush-tip inkpen. Using coffee for his armor, using aquarelle for all other colors.

"Helmets of my youth, 1" laying to dry on top of some clothes. Water color background, cutout ink glued on top of cardboard to make it float on top of the background. I grew up and loved these masks and heroes/villians wearing them. Size A3

I love this piece of mine from 2021. It started with just a small drawing while one of my kids watched TV, Samus Aran. I quickly got the idea to draw four helmets and put them together. Just ink, and aquarel on A3.

Dome this Locke Cole drawing in 2021, based on a DeviantArt version of him I really liked. Some tipex traces because my lineart made his face look broken, managed to cover most. In 2024 I took it down to add the background color and some extra shading with pencils. #LockeCole #finalfantasyvi #ff6

I think I messed up every hand in this picture. Based on a few year old sketch I did, that I inked a bit prematurely. Managed to correct most errors, but watxh closely and you'll see them. Scruffy Crash, Coco and Cortex in a steampunk lab. Markers for all color, except background: color pens

I love Mario too. It was my first entry to video games and it hit hard. I was just 7 and the year 1988. I've been a gamer ever since, never putting that controller down. Here's a stage/scene I imagined, with as many details as possible. Sketch done in 2020, ink and color done in 2024. #supermario

Sonic the Hedgehog, childhood favourite. I remember walking into the neighboring town's large shopping center, finding it on display, playable on a Sega Mega Drive. Everyone else just talked SNES and Mario, but for me it was only Sonic that mattered from then. Just ink + markers #sonicthehedgehog

Did a graphite of my girlfriend for Valentine's. Size A3. Used it also as a shade and hair study, so I helped myself by plotting out the basic anatomy of her face using a monitor with the paper on top. This way I could focus on shading, since I often waste too much time on the anatomy.

Doesn't get more WIP than this? Started the idea and sketching in early 2020, and still to this day is not done coloring it all. Mostly I got scared to ruin it, and after that hurdle the pens were too dry, damaging the paper. Many obstacles =)

A few more #inktober #inktober2024 sketches. Only Nomadic is inked so far. But I like many of them and hope to ink. Watched the old Robin Hood movie and got two of them from it, Horizon one of my favourite games, and more. #sketching

Inktober this year was my most contributed one so far. Far from all, but close to 12 days were sketches. None inked. But this is progress. And I use it for training and thinking outside the box, not as some mandatory "you must do this daily"-pressure thing. Here's Nomadic #starwars #inktober2024

With this piece I made an effort to challenge myself on background and composition (using my own ideas)
