Wonderfully existential, magical, fascinating, creative, confusing, lovely movie. No dialog, just a story about a bunch of animals learning how to get along to survive. But there's more! Lots of meaning, lessons, thoughts, and deep musings too. Go see it!

Loving it so far, despite the difficult sections showing the cruelty and racism in early 1900's. There's so much that is positive, life affirming, and inspirational. Easy, quick read, check it out.

Saw Dar Williams in Denver last week, one of my favorite singer/songwriters ever. Wonderful show, beautiful, heartfelt songs and sophisticated guitar picking. Glad she's keeping her music going and still coming out to share it with the world!

Another one: Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts (tinyurl.com/yc5fnpmc) - historical fiction about Maud Baum, the wife (and widow) of Frank L Baum, who wrote the Wizard of Oz. Jumping from early days to much later during the filming of the Wizard of Oz and how Maud befriends a young Judy Garland.

Recommendation: An Immense World by Ed Yong (www.goodreads.com/book/show/59...) - a look at the senses of all living things - not just the ones we typically associate with humans. Those plus several more that fish, insects, birds, turtles can sense and use to their advantage. Very rewarding!
