This is a piece by David Lynch. Is it presented as news or opinion? Blurring those lines turned me off to WaPo before the latest Bezos op-ed proclamations. The paper's owner has an agenda, and it doesn't involve being the Fourth Estate. A shame.

Didn't the 45 admin try to pull this with the 2020 census? Trying in part to sort northern European (preferred in many spheres) from southern, with animus toward Spain, Italy, Greece? Mexico is weird this way too: colonials from Spain are white but indigenous/mestizo not so much. It's BS.
