Starmer is a disgrace. “Incalculable damage” indeed. We have no research or evidence to back it up … so it’s “incalculable”.

The BBC continues to parrot the right agenda. “Immigration was a key issue in the 2024 election…” the news just said. And yet surveys then said it wasn’t top and only 1/4 voters thought it important. yougov.co.uk/politics/art...

FFS she’s got a massive bridge, an Olympic park, don’t think she’ll be forgotten in a hurry. No money for public spending, Labour led austerity and the BBC publishes this entirely uncritical piece on a £46m statue. Really. Fuck ‘em.

100 days of Trump and Canada and Australia turn away from outright neoliberalism … wtf happened here in the UK?

No vote in Norfolk today. Conservative majority councillors decided not to risk losing another year of allowances and that Trumped your right to vote them out. Voting polls give Tories 20%, they hold 2/3 of Norfolk wards until reorganisation.

The BBC goes above and beyond in its absurd clampdown on employees with the ending of Evan Davies’ The Happy Heatpump podcast. I kid you not. You can’t talk about heat pumps … but you can talk about the King’s brother Andrew without referring to his unsavoury connections.
