It's crazy. It's absolutely the biggest bang for the buck they could get to address the overall affordability concerns of voters.

What is so crazy is that the absolute best and quickest thing Republicans could do for themselves right now is to simply extend the ACA subsidies. It immediately takes a huge affordability issue off the table for millions of voters. Democrats gave them a gift and they refused it.

It's not like keeping the government shut down longer was going to convince Republicans to restore the subsidies. Their tolerance for inflicting pain on the American people is unending. Now, at least, everyone knows who is causing the pain.

Crazy. But there are fax apps for your computer or phone that allow you to fax without having a fax machine. Most have a free trial period if you only need to use it once.
