This was a full-on kidnapping. What reason is there to abduct someone actively studying, dragged into a car in broad daylight, no charges, just for looking “foreign”? This is happening across the U.S. It’s disturbing and should never be normal.

Even before Twitter got X'd, there was a need for a migration to a decentralized platform - one that's not controlled by the algorithms and design choices of its creators.

Bluesky might not be the ultimate solution, but its focus on user autonomy and transparency is very promising!
