The weekend event in #PokemonGO went pretty well for me. Safari balls being sold was a bit of a 'solution to a problem we made' deal, but getting my first Shiny Darkrai, and 2 of the lake trio, were particularly nice gets. No shundo, alas.

For this month's PokeCommunity Game Along challenge I played ZombiU, a launch title of the hit console Nintendo Wii U.
Not into that genre but overall I enjoyed my time! It used the Wii U controller pretty well, and executed the zombie concept well. 🧵

Void himself... okay? Backstory told after his defeat was a pacing issue, he had potential but his story needed to be told better. Interesting ideas, but alas. But hey, I could throw giant spears at him. That was funny.

Also L is such a troll, being here instead of the new area. Which makes me lament the lack of attention he got otherwise. There's such much we could have learnt about Mr 'anagram of lucifer who learnt English and is native to Mira'. Missed potential to mostly negate him IMO.

The 'connected to other Xenoblade games' bit... well, okay. A bit amusing to see it while Al looks dazed out as heck. I don't feel it really added much though in the end. IDK, not much gained, but really didn't change much either... for now. Who knows about the next xeno game!

Two other Al bits - these at least fleshed him out, and gave some more dimension. Decent VA work too. Not a strict 'perfect hero' guy, but not enough to sway me as other characters kept fawning over him. Couple that with him just getting tricked by Void and taken in Act 3...

Al... yeah, not a fan. "How's it popping" wore thin, but the narrow choices I had in reacting to him, including the forced response to it in the climax of the final fight wasn't great. Some potential but too rushed. If bits about him had been added to Ch. 1-12 first, maybe...

The more I read about #PokemonLegendsZA info from today's Direct... Kalos Starters' Mega Stones behind a PvP mode which requires an Online sub, and only one is available in the 1st season (how long to get Delphox's? Or Chestnaught's?) And postgame content in paid DLC...
