If not you could ask a local charity would they consider starting a scheme like that? I imagine quite a few people would benefit. And remember flying abroad to get your prescriptions in a pharmacy in another country that's cheaper is a valid option, as strange as it feels

Genuine question, does US not have a system where local charities do a collab with local supermarkets and take the food stuff they can't sell, and the charity then gives it to people in the area who come in on a Thursday to collect it? Things like food cloud?
