The NP has received much undeserved flak.It was well researched & is based on many sound principles on how chn acq maths.I trained in NP in the late 90s at TColl. Where it fell down was in its sustained implementation in schools but this was more to do with cuts to funding in PD, advisors & TColls

Yep.Tchg is a collab,reflective practise relying heavily on sharing practise&resources 2 improve.Non qualified tchrs will hv great knowledge & some cld be 'naturals'.H/ever,they'll contribute NOTHING 2 improving the practise of other tchrs.They'll b a drain upon them,wasting valuable time&resources.

Tired of reckons from ppl who once went to school,so therefore,they know.I went to a Drs, but it doesn't make me a medical expert. Offer up an opinion,but understand that's all it is.Nothing more.It's not expertise,insightful,or visionary.You simply went to school & you know FA about education.

Non-scientific, anecdotal evidence based opinion here, I had novovax earlier this year & haven't had covid once this year & I'm in the thick of it on a daily basis (tested often enough to ensure wasn't infectious, perhaps I had a v low dose, who knows?). Previous year covid x3 with Pfizer.

Basically, it comes down to resourcing.Schools r often placed in a position of deciding where to prioritize the limited $ avail.Having to employ additional ppl resourcing directly out of opps grants places a huge strain on budgets.Schools r essentially forced to chase bums on seats to generate $

Basically, it's deregulation of ITE with performance pay premised on the notion of generalised research based principles under the guise that this approach is non-idealogical. Interestingly, they are not req to provide any evidence re effectiveness of such.

* it's about the quality of teaching practice, not the quantity of time (5,6, year olds with 1hr blocks?). No mention of the BPMs (best practice models)

*What of cultural & sports days, assemblies, camps, etc? watch for exceptions
*x2 standardised testing yrly doesn't exist STAR is only test currently normed 4 such, easttle in need of major upgrade/revamp
