this is just a general statement: i genuinely don't really care if mutually blocking someone makes me petty; if they don't want to see me, i don't want to see them.

I think people should just block and move on rather than drag out the whole thing.
the perosn no longer exists to you so why should it matter if someone else is still interacting with them.
and if them interacting with that person bothers you then just blcok that person too!
