My hot take for this season: Fiorentina are dark horses. With Pioli, the master of regeneration, plus the confirmed talents of Gudmundsson and Kean, they have the pieces to really shock people and fight for a top spot this season.

The Premier League is the de facto Super League now. It makes no sense to compete with clubs that can spend €250M on just three players, as Liverpool have done this summer. The problem is the institutional inertia in Italy. While I think Serie A is on the right track, the system needs to catch up.

if you're sincerely gonna say "country's government sucks shit" means "that country's people shouldn't be allowed to compete in Eurovision" you are going to have a very, very difficult time going back over every participant since 1959 and weighing their government's heart on a scale with a feather

I am a big fan of the BBC convincing me (or rather wearing me down) to download the, admittedly great, BBC Sounds app, before slyly deciding to make it unavailable to listeners outside of the UK soon.

Somehow I was selected and took him along. Thus I saw the classic Pink Floyd lineup live, amongst many other legends.
