The only 'bumper' sticker (it was actually on the top center of the tailgate) on Dad's '72 Silverado read, "We have the best Congress money can buy". As true today as it was half a century ago.

Had a '68 in '72. Didn't have pictures of it. White with blue bumpers (that I painted myself). No rear seat, had a fold out love seat instead. Lady I worked with called it my "hippie motel".

We don't have a conservative party. We have a rabid, psychopathic, capitalist party, that will do ANYTHING for what my Daddy called "the almighty dollar". That root grows deep and strong with Republicans.

What do you expect? The Roberts Court has already coronated Drumph king when they ruled he has immunity for "official acts". McConnell put the Court in Drumph's back pocket, now we have to endure that old bastards fever dream.

They endorse educational opportunity for all--but they won't spend money for teachers or for schools. They think modern medical care and hospitals are fine--for people who can afford them. They consider electrical power a great blessing--but only when the private power companies get their rake-off.
