toei has been also like, notoriously awful at protecting their actors in the last few years, esp in sentai, it is speculated zyuoh red's suit actor also left the show bc of stuff like this

Everyone in the community can tell clear as day with more and more articles from Toei that Sentai is over for now and that Project R.E.D. is its own thing. Anyone who isn't is completely coping and in denial.

In Japan, a celebrity’s talent agency holds inordinate power over them and how their image/likeness is used by companies who hire that talent.

While we will never know the whole story, I would say it’s a much safer bet to direct your anger to the talent agency, not Toei.
