Global and Europe below. For reference, these are marine protected areas where x happens, so mapping globally is important to show spread.

Working to map a phenomenon globally, but having trouble making figures that are meaningful at the global level, while also having enough resolution at regional level.
What would you do to change this so that points don't look like polygons while keeping number of figures to a minimum?

So I was just renewing my @britishecolsoc.bsky.social membership and checking through the expertise categories.
I appreciate that all systems can’t be included, but if you’re gonna have peatland, reefs, mangroves, grasslands and forests in the list, at least put seagrass in there too! 🤷🏼♂️
