First play of Emberleaf from @cityofgameshq.bsky.social went great. Awesome teach from Jeremy, and the card dancing created a lot of combos to puzzle out during the game. Our playthrough should be up soon. Looking forward to another play.

My favorite character in the new Unmatched: The Witcher - Steel & Silver box! Ciri starts out slowly, but utilizing those source cards strategically can make her very powerful in the “back half of the game”. Plus, she has some gorgeous art on those cards! @restorationgames.bsky.social

Two great games last night. First time playing Scholars of the South Tigris, which I enjoyed so much more than Wayfarers. I need more experience with this game, so many strats! Finished the night with my favorite Suchy, Underwater Cities + New Discoveries (minus the museum). Awesome game night!

Both of my sons dig The Witcher lore, so it was cool introducing my older son to the new Unmatched characters from Steel & Silver! He played Geralt, said it was very thematic, while I got to try out Ancient Leshen. I lost my wolves early and he defeated me! @restorationgames.bsky.social

My secret Santa sent me a new-to-me expansion for my favorite game of all time, Concordia. I got to introduce the game with Sicilia as the map to three new players, and I love love love the volcano tiles. Just added a little bit o’ cayenne to the mix.

First play of the new The Witcher: Steel & Silver set from @restorationgames.bsky.social — I loved the twist in the Ciri deck, where if she can hang on until the back half of the game, she gets really really powerful! The source cards make for some really tough decisions early on. 👍
