Ayresome Rob
@boaly66.bsky.social
Dad, husband, uncle, and fan of Middlesbrough FC.
My opinions are my own but not so entrenched that I can't be persuaded otherwise by evidenced argument.
Costs a fortune in little white balls to keep them fed

The reduction/sanctioning of benefits for young and older claimants who refuse (or are deemed to have refused) employment is decades old.
The contention comes in where and to whom you set the bar. It is probably too early, for even the DWP SoS, to have that detail.

No double entendres about Paddy's Hole????

Am I wrong that I feel I've missed out with my children now too old?

I increasingly believe that if Labour see no prospect of electoral success they may press the 'nuclear button' - as in a manifesto commitment to a customs union or similar but not outright rejoin EU.
It is an "if all else fails" option and would risk being seen as so.

I'll have a go with my half-baked theory ...
His game is so "on-the-edge" and full energy that he probably needs to be over 90% fit to risk playing him.

Thought Whittaker had his best game.
Riley showed glimpses of a return to form.
But we really really miss Fry in games like this.

CT reform/revaluation, like adult social care, funding needs a cross party consensus.
No opposition party wants to hand a political win to the government or (more likely) have to share in a political loss.

Valid but not to the extent it seriously detracts from the final product.
If only for Stormtroopers able to 'hit a cows arse with a banjo' it proved its worth.

Respectfully, no.

Ha!
Not sure what he's for. Hope we find out before his contract expires.

I don't know.
It's only a step or 2 below 'how to make a cup of tea' or 'what is this (fist sized piece of semi-spherical bread) called' that exorcises the most mild mannered of people found on any platform.
However... so far so good

This analysis reflects what I've seen of Boro games
But...
How accurate is assessing the underlying data of a 15 game sample at determining outcomes for the season ahead?
Has a similar analysis in previous seasons been better at predicting the final table than the actual table after 15 games does?

The greatest privilege of lengthy support is being able to "treat those two importers just the same" or less poetically, having an accurate sense of perspective.

David Olusoga would be cheaper

I'd be interested in what Wolves fans thought 'making a decent fist of it' would look like if still relegated - to the extent he would keep his job.

He's not the messiah
Also he's not Christian Ziege

Let's not be hyperbolic about this.

Sorry to bing AI into this ...
I suspect we can't be too far away from a LLM being able to guide us safely through this process.

Let's see how it plays out and move on.
He's a nice guy and possibly a good coach/man-manager. But there's no emotional investment from us fans yet to make it too bad if he goes.

Yeah, nothing to get angry about. I think people are being as upfront as is possible in these situations.

See how it plays out and move on.
