An immediate report to HR, if he were not the top brass he'd be disciplined and if he is, she's be moved or put on probation preparatory to being fired, if you want to know what I have personally witnessed in Corporate America.

I was the Data person on a 5A HS campus and I once gave out Mardi Gras beads with a silly note (so cheap) to the Teachers to get their Grade Reports on time and you would've thought I gave gold ingots! It was unexpected and kind of made their day.

I will never understand such people. It costs one nothing to be pleasant and just do the job!

Does her drama cost the company money and/or efficiency? I have found when I show a loss of $ or productivity, the higher ups tend to listen more. Like when I laid out actual graphs which showed the gross mismanagement I once worked under (who was trying to fire me). Guess who didn't get fired?
