The Loch at RMMP. This wasn’t my favorite hike of the trip, but it was my favorite destination.

The area was so beautiful and full of life.

Here is a pano from Lake Helene at RMNP.

I know it’s not the best pic, but it was the only way to capture the entire landscape.

I was lucky to visit Rocky Mountain NP this year. This is the trail leading to Lake Helene.

It was an amazing hike. We started at Bear Lake. Instead of turning around at Helene, we continued toward Fern Lake. Ended up hiking 11 miles that day.

Happy Thursday all. I just wanted to throw out a couple old pictures from my first trip to Yellowstone.

The first picture was taken from the Grand Prismatic overlook. We continued to Fairy Falls after that.

I think I might have to plan another trip there.

I recently got back from my annual trip to the Black Hills. It’s always a great place to visit.

I took this picture along a portion of the George Mickelson trail. Normally I only walk a couple miles each day. It was such an awesome trail that I walked six miles.

I can’t wait to visit again.

Saw this cool tree on a hike in Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

I decided to skip the gym today and go hiking on a local trail. I’m so happy I did.

I really enjoyed the cool morning air and the sound of birds chirping as I wondered around.

Anyway. Here is a cool picture of nature reclaiming a old railroad track.

It is a remarkable ride. I have a tough time deciding which one is better. Needles Highway or Iron Mountain road.

I could have framed this a little better. Nice little fence next to the little Missouri River.

Here are a couple red chairs on the trail going to Wilcox Pass. This is one of my favorite spots.

It’s normally pretty busy at this spot, but on this day, I was able to relax for 30 minutes up there by myself.

Here is a picture I took at Lake Louise. It was early in the morning and the light was amazing.

Saw this awesome car parked outside the Boars Nest near Lead SD. On a side note, they make one of the best burgers I have ever had.

I have two favorites, but I’m not as well traveled as most. The small wooden bridge was on the hike to Bullhead Lake in Glacier National Park. The larger suspension bridge was found on the Hell Roaring Creek trail in Yellowstone.

Another beautiful day in North Dakota. At least there isn’t much wind today.

Without a doubt a ton of good roads. My favorite is the Vanocker Canyon road. I could talk forever about riding down there. I go every summer and I use Deadwood as home base.

Anyway. Here are a couple pics of the gallery. He always displays some vintage Harleys as well.

Wilcox was one of my favorite hikes. I had to share these Pics though. I hiked as close as I was allowed to the glacier. Seeing the signs on the path showing where the glacier was year to year. It’s sad to see how much it has receded over the years.

It is worth the time. I’ve hiked both the loops the various times there. If you don’t have a ton of time the Tower Trail is just over a mile. You get a bunch of great views from it.

Greetings from North Dakota. I ride a Road Glide ST.

This is the Canyon Bridge in Yellowstone NP. When I first saw it, I knew there had to be a way to get to it. Sure enough, there was. It was pretty cool walking across it.

It was a little brisk outside this morning. Pretty sure today is the coldest day of the year so far.

Thanks for sharing. My old pupper used to love those.

I thought this sign was hilarious. Who are they to tell me I can’t keep hiking?
