It's a crossover focused on the fun and action, which also means I'm left wondering what more I would want from the narrative crossover of these two worlds. It'll be fun to think about, though I don't know enough about Power Rangers to get as deep as I'd like.

Why this direction for Gamera? He's the friend to all children, not the avatar of class warfare or whatever they're doing. There's stuff in Gamera's background of nuclear age anxiety and war, but this feels so abstracted. I don't want Atlantis or Mu.

Wake Up Dead Man is such a great movie.

What an incredible portfolio as an artist, too. Every movie is different and singular while maintaining that personality, they can be viewed as a group or individually, just an artist bringing together a new cast to tackle a new challenge in a new way.

I love these movies so much, and I can't wait for the next one. Rian Johnson and Daniel Craig need to stay paired for the rest of their creative lives, for my sake.
