Adding their own simple version of ZBrush for no discernible reason was not something I would've guessed but I can't wait to be amazed at what people manage to make in it cause you know they're gonna go crazy with it

Yeah man you could also do that with a newsletter subscription. This is a chicken or the egg thing, I don't think people come to platforms so they can get brand news asap, they come here for community with people like them and then follow brands for news (if they even do) because it's convenient

Also idk about you but I almost *never* hear news about the stuff I care about first hand on social media. It's almost always other fans talking about it

You mean the trailers that get shown everywhere else on every other platform as ads while also being uploaded to youtube for anyone to view anytime they want? Not to mention that they'd still be shown here anyways through fan news outlets if anyone cares enough, as well as any other big news

There's still lots of benefits to blocking someone from seeing what you post, and for some situations it's absolutely essential (like getting stalked online)

Brands just give me the chore of having to block more accounts. I don't think we need to treat them like gods and I definitely don't think they'd be a positive impact just because they drive up engagement
