Under their current leadership I was reluctant to mention my un-european vacation on FB or IG but it was a good trip. I wonder if BluSky compresses the stars out of astronomy photos as thoroughly as FB and IG do?

Peak post-war German mechanical complexity so gummed up with 60 years of dust and dried whale-oil repair pros won't touch it. But AI can generate believable bad instructions for "the intriguing world" of repairing a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex.

The GRACE cafe is inside an ancient church in an Irish midland town. A sign outside said "Come to discuss interesting topics!" The Paper Kites soft folk music added to the gentle vibe. As with bsky, I'll come again to learn if it is a safe and welcoming place.
