Pretending I'm not a centrist dad who listen's to BBC R6!!
What? The Sex Pistols were a middle class art school band....very, very try hard.

As were The Undertones. Yer man Feargal - a 'Scout Leader' in his early 20's was about as middle class as you could get in 1970's 'Derry'......

Nearly as middle class as 'Kneecap'.....another bunch of try hards!

The other Brisbane Roar fan groups, like The Den used to say the Northern Element were trying way too hard with their silly chants.

Body shaming stewards and things like that.

Poltical correctness gone mad!

The A League is on a road to nowhere. Time for a massive rethink on how professional football in Australia operates in it's current financial climate.

No unfortunately it's unrealistic to think that it might change. Football or Soccer is generally seen as the interloper in Australian sport.

The problem being is the majority of Australians don't see soccer as an Australian sport and the political establishment's rhetoric agrees. Whilst they might jump on the Socceroos or Marilda bandwagon when do you ever hear a major political figure harp on about which A League team he 'barracks' for?
