I agree, a Pham for McCambley swap would be very acceptable! Also, the O’s seem to have a developing affinity for Coastal Carolina players & coaches (Sharkey, Bodine, & Joe Singley), so wouldn’t shock me if they like McCambley.

After reviewing that list, I would love the O’s to pick Zach McCambley and see if he can make the team in a bullpen role. Kyler Fedko also looks intriguing as a power/speed 4th outfielder option.

Sure, that’s a valid point. I guess we’ll have to see how it goes, but clearly Elias thinks he’s capable of handling this role by promoting him.

Elias brought Fournie over from Houston, where they previously worked together. His skill set clearly is on the economic/strategy/analytics side, and it sounds like his focus as AGM will be on contract negotiations and market/player valuations.

That could be what Elias has in mind for Brendan Fournie, whose background is more on the economic side of the game.

I’m on board with Kingston, but not with Servais. Servais never won anything with the Mariners and to me would be a very underwhelming choice for manager.
