That's just the entire field of economics and most of psychology tbh, the more I learn about those two fields the more I realize we are all deeply stupid monkeys who often know better but rarely act on that knowledge

Even Paradox DLC is worth it, sure I've probably spent around $400 total on EU4 and Stellaris over the years but I've also gotten over 3k hours and counting out of Stellaris and 4k from EU4. 6.5 cents an hour is a pretty great deal I'd say

Yeah this is absolutely the problem, with torches you need to lean into mana and omega attack. The strongest run I've had by far was with torches.
