I took my 12 year old Grandson for a short ringing session this morning. Just 1 net but we caught some Blackcaps, Robin's, Garden Warbler, Goldcrest and 2 Kingfishers.

46 birds caught this morning at Shirebrook Valley Visitors Centre. Best of the day being young female Sparrowhawk.
Blue Tit 15/2, Great Tit and Lotti 8/1, Dunnock 3, Goldcrest and Robin 2, Sparrowhawk, Blackbird, Coal Tit and Bullfinch 1.
