I'm not sure which company, but its unlikely. He works alone measuring the tree growth so they can count the carbon credits.

Didn't grow up here. I moved in ~8 years ago from New Zealand. NZ is kinda similar to the PNW though!

it was a fantastic way to grow up, kinda sad that I don't know how to give my kids the same without becoming a remote worker or not working in bigtech (I love working in bigtech)

When we weren't on the farm we lived on a (rather rickety) yacht, and sailed around NZ and Australia

If its my upbringing it's probably weirder than you expect. My dad kind of gradually built up our farm from nothing in the forest. I still remember washing clothes by hand, going into the forest for bathroom, etc.
