Years from now, when it is asked “how in hell did Trump remain in power?”, that shameful interview will be used as a prime example

Such a weak column

Trump is nothing but a useful idiot to our adversaries

Rather than simplistic “let’s ruin the lives of those 8 Senators”, here’s a more intelligent deep dive in to the nuance and facts of the situation

Wonderful summary and thoughts on the situation. Puts things in perspective and the reasoning behind the votes of the 8 democrats . Many commenting here either didn’t read Heather’s piece, or didn’t understand it.

What is most maddening, and dangerous, is when the bended-knee media fails to accurately describe, correctly label, and investigate the actions of an authoritarian administration. Rather, cowardly choosing to both/sides or soften the truth of what is happening. All while Rome burns

Such a weak show tonight

I like this idea. Does Peacock NBCBoston allow recording or game replay…. or only live tv?

Also note to candidates: If you chose to get a Nazi tattoo at any time in your life, you are a cockroach and certainly not fit for office

Nah, Mookie has been a key part of 3 championship teams (going on 4). Future HOF, amazing defensive versatility and an .809 postseason OPS. The guy is a winner. Trying to downplay that is weak

Wonderful column by Margaret Sullivan at The Guardian on the terrible, weird choice of Bari Weis by CBS News

Bari Weiss is a weird and worrisome choice as top editor for CBS News | Margaret Sullivan
When Weiss was named editor-in-chief, it was the latest turn in the network’s confounding departure from its roots

I agree that it’s a great newspaper. My favorite. The cost to access all content, digitally….. is SUBSTANTIALLY more than any other news source. Not even close to being affordable or justifiable for me. A news source for the rich in my opinion which is sad

Paying a substantial amount to be a “standard subscriber” and not having access to all of the content unless paying much more to “upgrade to premium” is a terrible business model and why I cancelled FT. Sorry
