If she had voted no, one of the other Republicans who voted no would have changed their vote. It's performative. Just enough resistance that JD Vance's vote gets the bill passed, like all the confirmation votes for unqualified hacks.

There are legitimate reasons for targeting Iran but there are illegitimate targets. A blanket statement to not target Iran is not great advice for those pilots in Diego Garcia. Don't be a war criminal, but the Iranian govt is not a peace loving entity.

They were never a thing. People here are so uneducated and it's being amplified by idiot MAGA politicians. You're correct that C pox parties were a thing to prevent shingles (a worse disease) before the vaccine. Shingles is the same virus in older people. Other viruses do not always work like that.
