10°, 12" of snow on top of the 18" already there. At the late service we had 75% of normal attendance. The guest preacher started with an amusing joke about the water running down the walls from ice dams. Sang some favorite hymns, received the Body & Blood, went to coffee hour. It was church.

The 20s30s group at my last parish did "Skill Share" -- church members (both YA and not) who knew how to do something useful/ interesting taught the group, plus Compline. Also content discussions like of a Substack post. Also service opportunities.

Yes, but check out Lent week 4. This switch is to harmonize the office with the traditional themes of Refreshment Sunday (John 6 is even read on that Sunday in year B).
