At Claude Goldenberg’s session at #TESOL25 and he is blowing my mind, talking at length about The American Tradition: Bilingual Education. I knew this to be true, but he laid out all the details. A smaller percentage of children are currently, in 2025, receiving bilingual education than in 1900.

If I had a dollar for every Margo Gottlieb presentation I’ve attended, I could have retired a year earlier! I think my first one was at the Radisson Hotel in Lincolnwood, IL (the purple hotel) back in 1983 when she was involved in Project Rainbow for Elgin U-46. #NABE25
