I've constructed a world for this story, pseudo-medieval/early Renaissance with its own nations royal families, and religions and histories. The story involves taboo relationships and religious practices and can be considered for mature audiences.

A little about the story: The "spare" prince of the king is thrown out of court when his brother ascends to the throne. As he fights alongside rebels to depose his tyrant of a brother he reignites a romance with a knight who once saved his life.

NaNoWriMo had the goal of writing a 50k word novel during the month of November. This year, I'm challenging myself to this and hope I can actually commit. I'll be using bsky as a way to track my progress.

I laughed harder than I should have at this.

I'd rather have rotating maps while I'm driving, so I know my frame of reference, but in all other circumstances I, too, need north-up always.

I say this because in a recent post (I refuse to call them 'skeets' it's just a stupid name I'm sorry), I tried typing the word 'but' and it got changed to 'buy' no less than three times.

And yes, I realize calling for regulation or reform is like speaking to a brick wall right now, but I can dream, right? 😅

I love LEDs in almost all use cases. They're brighter, more efficient, and longer lasting (if made and used correctly). But I do feel that there needs to be more regulation on car headlights to improve road safety, even if that means making them a little dimmer.

Distinctly remember having either the chess or flower. Ironically it was never the astronaut 😅

IIRC before Space Force, the Air Force would be tasked with things like this. They also would be responsible for launch and recovery range security. It's actually a much more efficient system.
