That solution isn’t ideal but you’d then know that there is an issue with USB, most likely a crazy annoying form of interference, lol.

To confirm, try booting into a Linux live USB (Ubuntu, Fedora, etc.) and making a recording there. If the issue persists, there’s your (frustrating) answer.

Plug in one of the outputs from the Scarlett into the line-in on the mobo. You’ll need a 6.25 to 3.5mm cable for this, and you’ll probably need to use the Scarlett software to set your mic input to be sent to the output.

This would be your fastest way to get back streaming.

Some explanation behind this suggestion.

Since both the Yeti and Scarlett are USB audio devices, trying an analog mic straight into the mobo lets you remove the common variable (USB) from the equation completely.

If the analog mic works perfectly, you have an option to start streaming again:

Do you happen to have any analog microphones you can test with the line/mic-in ports on the mobo? Even something like earbuds with a mic would be great test to see if it’s also affecting analog audio too.

Please understand that the U.S. is beyond the stage of having a “disagreement” of ideology.

If 2028 is free and fair, it is guaranteed that a progressive candidate will win it - getting there though will likely take force. Undoing damages will take decades that not everyone has time to wait for.

If you read the article, you’d know this has been a struggle for many years. What can he, or most others in his field, do now that the tipping point has been crossed with no way to restore it before the end of the decade. There’s no time left to fight it, so why drain yourself trying to?

I had a red OG pebble in Grade 7, and while it looked a bit goofy, it’s still my favourite smartwatch to date. I had an Apple Watch for the next 6-ish years and have stopped wearing it because it’s too much like a second phone and become a distraction rather than a tool
