Hi Michelle, I’m a picture book author seeking representation, but this is a general query question though. I have heard that end of year is a bad time to query as many Agents are “closing out the year” and are not actively seeking new clients as much as the first of the year. Is this true?

Thank you for this opportunity. I submitted 2 manuscripts today after being advised by a fellow SCBWI member at our monthly meetup.

PB: Annie & Danny DON’T Like Nannies. Rambunctious and adorable twins Annie & Danny are used to being at home with their parents , but since business is picking up at their home bakery they need to hire a nanny. Nanny after nanny are dismissed by the twins for hilariously ridiculous reasons.

Link on this page may be broken but it works when I go thru my QueryTracker account directly.

Yes! I saw on your fun facts page! I feel as though my story Annie & Danny Don’t Like Nannies may resonate as it follows the twins and their parents as they try to find a suitable nanny. Excited at the opportunity to present it when you reopen for queries!

Excited for March 3rd! I have a PB about twins that I think you may find interesting!

Not sure if you have offered to have a live zoom call or webinar so folks can see that you aren’t a scammer. With so many scammers on social media offering to promote or help , free might sound too good to many writers who may need your help. Maybe set up a date and time for a live session?

Find inspiration in EVERYTHING. The smallest things( a leaf dancing in the wind, rain being brushed aside by windshield wipers) can spark just that right amount of creativity.
