Right now, it’s All Quiet on the Western Front. There is absolutely no reason to send national guard troops into our city. It is quiet and peaceful. Security on the trains, at Union Station, and in lower downtown is more than adequate to quell any disturbance. But that won’t stop Trump’s fantasies.

God, I sure hope that you’re wrong on that, Michael. I transit through Denver Union Station 4 times a week using Denver’s A Line hitting most of the stops along the way. I’m so tempted to take video right now of the entire experience.

Thank you Jesus! The DOGE are bent on the destruction of Social Security plain and simple. They are not there to keep it solvent or to ensure better customer service. They are there for headlines and to try and play “gotcha” with federal workers - even if the DOGE team is wrong.

It is possible to use the Wayback Machine on the Internet Archive to find old versions of websites. It’s very useful when shit like this happens. You can change a website. But it’s bet difficult to change an archive of the the past.

NOAA provides the best, most accurate weather forecasting for the United States. It would be awful to lose its valuable input.

I would love to do exactly what you are saying Stephen, and for sanity have already done some. But, I’m a former military officer and graduate from a US service academy. I do believe in things like honor, the rule of law, and ethics. In America, laws are dead now.

Try the Guardian. It’s a great compliment to the BBC. Their coverage feels a lot more honest and transparent than what’s getting covered in our media now.

Look into TuneFab. It lets you download all of the books that you purchased off of Audible and turn them all into .mp3’s by Book and Chapter. I activated a one month membership, transferred all of the books that I had purchased, and cut the cable with Audible.
