....she speaks up for herself. Was she fired? No. But she did quit.
We’re so afraid to speak up for ourselves out of fear of being fired,vwhen in reality, we’re quitting on ourselves.
Declare: “The version of me that’s emerging no longer leads like this…” (finish the sentence publicly or privately).

This reminds me of a moment from the Sex and the City movie, Miranda, the only woman at the table in her law firm, is interrupted and overtalked by her boss, who then assigns the case she’s been working on to a male colleague. Instead of shrinking back.....

It requires more than knowledge or intellect. Instinct and wisdom are the revolutionary traits of the leaders rising now.

As a leader, the questions you should be asking are: Who is missing from the table? Whose voice has been silenced? And how can I use my role to repair, and heal?

The Leaders We Need Now are those willing to confront injustice, ReImagine power, and commit to the long and often uncomfortable work of collective healing. This kind of leadership isn’t neutral. It’s embodied, political, and relational.
