It’s been so influential to my time in fandom these past four years, and I love it dearly.

TTM was all anyone in our little rayllum corner talked about that first autumn that I was here in the fandom. Some of the first and most WONDERFUL fics I’ve read were in reaction to TTM. Many of the fics I’ve written that I’m most proud of have in some way been informed by TTM.

On the Callum side of the story, the way he so very badly wants her to feel better!!!!! …to a fault! He literally *fixes the moon nexus* for her!!! What a SWEETHEART. (And this is why I LOVE and ADORE him.)

But also it’s so COMPELLING to me…Rayla loving him SO much that she feels she HAS to go to keep him safe. It’s SO romantic (and heartbreaking!) a concept that it makes me all fluttery even years and lots of story progression later.

Of course, I was *heartbroken* by the end of TTM…but I also ADORE it. Sure, I love it for rayllum just…being rayllum. (They’re so touchy and sweet! The love and care!!! The teasing and comfort!!!! Ahhhhh!!)

—which I stumbled across after my second watch-thru left me hungry for more rayllum. (That’s when I opened up good ole AO3 too.) tbh, those pages were absolutely formative to the beginning of my return to fandom/writing. There’s a REASON I’m obsessed with Katolis rayllum!
